History & Staff

At SugarBabies, you can shop with confidence! Since 2005, we’ve been one of the original online baby stores, proudly family-owned and locally operated in Washington State. Our store is located right here in the community, where every detail of the business is still run in-house by a passionate team.

SugarBabies is powered by working parents with children ranging from newborns to teens. Each member of our team brings unique backgrounds, experiences, parenting styles, and perspectives — and it’s this diversity that makes SugarBabies such a special place.

On any given day, you’ll find our team designing in-store displays, ordering new products, packing and shipping, organizing inventory, creating promotions, and tackling the hundreds of little tasks that keep SugarBabies thriving. We’re a hands-on group, always striving to make SugarBabies — and your experience with us — the very best it can be.

We take pride in offering the best customer experience possible. In store we have a team of amazing sales associates that are knowledgeable, helpful and never work on commission. It is our goal to ensure all of your questions are answered and you find the perfect baby item!

Car Seat Installation

We are so proud to have a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) available at our store! You can schedule an appointment to meet with Jessie Alexander, CPST and have all your car seat questions answered! Your 30-minute consultation is complimentary with any SugarBabies car seat purchase.

This is not your traditional “car seat check.” At your appointment you can: Receive help installing your new car seat and learn how to do it yourself (Education is the key to keeping your baby safe forever), ask questions about car seat safety or simply have your car seat checked for proper installation.

In Store Events

At SugarBabies we proudly host in store events for our local community. Come in around the holidays for memorable hand printing with Patty Cake Prints. We also play host to brand ambassadors who provide knowledge for you and your loved ones so you are well informed when making those important gear purchase decisions. If there’s something going on in downtown Sumner, you can bet we are taking part in the fun!
