The 2025 Tundra crew cab fits three car seats across, and earns an A for LATCH, the infant seat, the rear-facing convertible and the booster on its wide flat bench. The forward-facing convertible drops to a C for one reason: the top tether anchors are buried in the seatback carpet behind the seat, and you have to fold the seat down to expose one.
The Tundra's top tether anchors are well marked but sit buried in the seatback carpet behind the seat, and Cars.com found you must fold the seat forward to expose one. That is the stated reason for its C grade on forward-facing installs. Fold the seat and find the anchor properly rather than hooking the strap onto whatever is reachable. If in doubt, check the owner's manual for the routing.

Where the anchors are
Lower anchors. Two sets, sitting just inside the seat bight where the back and bottom cushions meet, and easy to access.
Top tethers. Three, well marked on the seatback but buried in the seatback carpet behind the seat. You have to fold the seat to expose one.
NHTSA recommends always using the top tether with a forward-facing car seat, whether it is installed with the lower anchors or the seat belt, as long as both the car seat manufacturer and the vehicle manufacturer permit it. Check both manuals for your specific combination, and check your car seat's tether weight limit: NHTSA directs you to stop using the tether once your child exceeds it, even while they still fit the seat. Infant car seats
Connecting to the lower anchors was easy, and the 5-foot-6-inch front passenger had plenty of space in front of the seat.
That matters more than it sounds. In a lot of compact vehicles a rear-facing seat pushes the front passenger forward until the front row is unusable. Convertible car seats
Rear-facing. Easy, thanks to the accessible lower anchors, with the front passenger comfortable.
Forward-facing. Its lowest grade, and the tether access is the whole reason rather than the fit.
Some vehicles need the head restraint removed or raised to seat a car seat flush against the seatback, and some have fixed restraints that cannot be moved at all. Check your vehicle manual before forcing anything, and note that where a fixed restraint holds the seat off the seatback, that is a fit problem rather than something you can work around. An A. The seat is wide and flat, and the short but stable buckles should be easy for kids to use on their own.
Will your stroller fit?
Cars.com's Car Seat Check does not cover cargo, so the stroller guidance here is ours rather than theirs. A pickup bed is uncovered and unsecured, so a folded stroller wants the rear footwell or a tonneau cover, particularly in wet weather.
Cubic feet is the wrong number to shop on anyway. What decides whether a stroller fits is its folded footprint against the width between your wheel wells and the height to your cargo cover. A trunk can have generous volume and still refuse a wide fold.
Measure the space you will actually load into, whatever shape it is: how deep it is, its narrowest width (usually between the wheel arches, or between the bed rails on a pickup), and the height of the opening you have to lift over. Then compare against the folded dimensions of whatever you are considering.
