Bundle vs parts: every Nuna travel system you can order today, priced both ways where we can

We took each Nuna travel system we can sell today and added up the price of the same pieces bought on their own from our store: the stroller, the infant seat with its base, and the bassinet and stand where the bundle includes one. The PIPA urbn and the FLEX frame are not sold on their own, so the two larger FLEX bundles are priced as the PIPA urbn FLEX travel system plus the extra pieces, and the three bundles that are only a stroller or frame with the urbn show n/a. Most of these bundle listings are built from the exact stroller and seat-and-base SKUs we sell individually, so the comparison is like for like.

SugarBabies prices, updated automatically from our store. Where a parts total is shown, it adds the individual listings named in that row. "What the bundle includes" lists the main pieces from each bundle listing's contents and SKUs. Whatever color you choose in the three MIXX Next bassinet bundles, the bassinet in the listing is the Caviar/Chocolate one. Sold-out bundles (TRIV LX + PIPA urbn, TRIV Next + PIPA urbn) and bundle options that cannot currently be ordered are left out.

When the totals match

When a Nuna bundle and its parts total are the same, the bundle buys convenience: one listing, with the seat already matched to the stroller. You have to choose a bundle only if you want the PIPA urbn or the FLEX frame, because we sell both only inside bundles.

UPPAbaby: the system cost, built from individual listings

For UPPAbaby we price the system from the stroller and the infant seat sold on their own. The Vista V3 and Cruz V3 take the Mesa V3, the Aria V2 and the UPPAbaby bassinet directly, with no adapters, per UPPAbaby's listing copy. The Minu V3 needs UPPAbaby's Minu V3 adapter for Aria and Mesa seats.

SugarBabies prices, updated automatically from our store, for colors that can be ordered today. Aria V2 is available in fewer colors than Mesa V3. System totals add the stroller, seat and adapter prices in the row. Adapter requirements: UPPAbaby listing copy for the Vista V3, Cruz V3, Aria V2 and the Minu V3 adapter.

When we priced them for this guide, these totals matched the UPPAbaby bundle prices on our site to the cent for every color offered both ways, so the answer was the same as for Nuna: buying the pieces cost the same as the set.

When buying separately changes the total

For Nuna and UPPAbaby, the math only moves when you build something no bundle covers. Three examples from our catalog:

• A pairing we don't bundle. The TAVO Next ($700) with the PIPA Aire RX and RELX base ($650) comes to $1,350. Nuna's listing says the TAVO Next connects to PIPA series seats with no adapters.
• A Nuna seat on an UPPAbaby stroller. Vista V3 ($999.99, or $899.99 in Savannah) + PIPA RX with RELX base ($550) + UPPAbaby car seat adapters for Vista and Cruz ($49.99) = $1,599.98, or $1,499.98 with the Savannah stroller. UPPAbaby's adapter listing names the PIPA RX and says it fits all Cruz models and all Vista models except pre-2015 ones. More pairings are in our adapters collection.
• A second car. No bundle includes a second base. Extra bases on their own: Nuna PIPA RELX extra base $250 and Nuna PIPA extra car seat base $200, each listed by Nuna for all PIPA series seats except the PIPA urbn; UPPAbaby extra base for Mesa $199.99, which UPPAbaby says the Mesa V3 seat fits; UPPAbaby Aria extra base $229.99, which UPPAbaby lists for the Aria V2. The PIPA urbn (sold with the MIXX Next, TRVL LX and FLEX) installs with Nuna's pipaFIX rigid latch or a vehicle seat belt and does not fit the PIPA series or RELX base, so there is no second base to buy.

Do I need the bassinet?

Not for every stroller. Some manufacturers rate the stroller seat itself for newborns, and UPPAbaby asks for the bassinet or the Infant SnugSeat on the Vista V3 until 3 months. Every stroller below also takes an infant car seat, directly or with an adapter, for car-to-stroller trips. Here is what each manufacturer says, and what the bassinet adds to the bill at our prices.

Newborn ratings: manufacturer copy on each product listing, October 2026, except the TRIV Next advice, which is from Nuna's TRIV next product page; your stroller's manual has the exact limits. Bassinet fit: the stroller, bassinet and adapter listings. Prices: SugarBabies, updated automatically from our store, with each total adding the bassinet and stand. UPPAbaby lists the Infant SnugSeat ($69.99) as compatible with all Vista models, the V3 included, and not with the Cruz V3, which has built-in newborn support.

So on the Vista V3, a baby under 3 months rides in the Bassinet V3 ($279.99 before any stand), in the stroller seat with the Infant SnugSeat ($69.99), or in an infant car seat. The bassinet is optional on the MIXX Next and Cruz V3. On the TRIV Next, Nuna recommends using a PIPA series infant car seat until about 6 months, and the SWIV & TRIV bassinet is optional. On the PIPA urbn FLEX the stroller seat starts at 6 months, so before then your baby rides in a PIPA series seat or the SWIV & TRIV bassinet. None of the bassinets we sell is listed for the TRVL LX, TAVO Next or Minu V3. The Nuna MIXX Next bassinet costs $500 and the SWIV & TRIV bassinet costs $500, each with the stand. On UPPAbaby the stand is a separate $149.99 to $199.99, so decide whether you will use it for naps at home before adding it.

Compatibility and generation questions

• Nuna strollers and PIPA seats. Nuna's listings say the TRVL LX and TAVO Next connect to PIPA series seats with no adapters. The MIXX Next and TRIV Next take the seat on a ring adapter that comes in the box.
• MIXX or MIXX Next? Every MIXX travel system we list is built on the MIXX Next, with the compact fold-away axle and MagneTech Secure Snap magnetic buckle Nuna describes on its listing. We don't list the original MIXX.
• Which UPPAbaby generation? For the Vista, Cruz and Minu, we list the V3 generation, with the Mesa V3 and Aria V2 infant seats. Our older Mesa V2 and Mesa Max listings are archived.
• Baseless install for travel. The PIPA urbn installs with pipaFIX rigid latch or a vehicle seat belt, with no base. Nuna's listings for the PIPA RX and PIPA Aire RX say they can also be belt-installed without the base. Your seat's manual has the installation steps.
• Check the stroller before you lock in the seat. You use the stroller far longer than the infant seat. If you buy the seat first, make sure the strollers you are considering take it, directly or with an adapter the manufacturer lists.
