Pick the Nuna MIXX Next ($900) if you want one stroller from birth that takes a bassinet or a PIPA car seat. Pick the TRVL LX ($600) if lifting weight decides it: Nuna lists it at 17 lb against 29 lb. For two children, compare the TRVL DUBL and the Vista V3. At our Sumner store you can see Nuna, UPPAbaby, Cybex and Doona side by side.
Prices update automatically from our store. Weights and folded sizes are each manufacturer's, from our product pages, with the basis they give.
If you live in Tacoma, Puyallup or Auburn, our store at 926 Main St #104 in Sumner is where you can see Nuna, UPPAbaby, Cybex and Doona side by side. A listing tells you a weight. It does not tell you how a fold feels with a baby on your hip, or whether the handle sits right for both parents. This guide covers what to check in person, the numbers to bring, and five strollers we sell, compared from their listings.
Hours and parking
We are open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed Sunday. There is free street parking right out front, and our phone is (253) 299-6221.
What to check when you see a stroller in person
- Fold it yourself, with one hand if the listing promises it, and check that it stands on its own.
- Lift it to trunk height. The listed weight is only useful once you have felt it at waist level.
- Push it one-handed around a tight corner, the way you will in a coffee shop.
- Set the recline to where a newborn would ride, then to a toddler position.
- Have both parents push it to check handle height.
- Check the car seat fit if you plan a travel system, including whether your infant seat needs an adapter.
Five strollers we sell, compared from their listings
This table compares our product listings. It is not a list of what is on our store floor. The longest folded side is the number to hold against your trunk depth. We took it from each listing's folded dimensions so you can compare strollers whose makers list length, width and height in different orders.

Prices update automatically from our store. Specs: each manufacturer, as listed on our product pages. "Longest folded side" is our pick of the largest of the three folded dimensions in each listing. The Vista V3 price varies by color. The table is a listing comparison, not a statement of which models are on display.
On these listings, the TRVL LX is 12 lb lighter than the MIXX Next and costs $300 less. Both take a Nuna PIPA seat, so the choice comes down to whether you want a bassinet mode and a bigger ride. Our travel system or separate stroller guide runs the bundle math, our Nuna vs UPPAbaby travel system guide compares the two brands' daily routines, and our Nuna car seat guide covers which PIPA to pair.
Who each stroller is not for
- Nuna MIXX Next, not for: anyone lifting a stroller into a high trunk several times a day. At 29 lb it is the heaviest single stroller in this table.
- Nuna TRVL LX, not for: parents set on a bassinet. Its listing offers a near-flat recline with a raised calf support instead, and no bassinet mode.
- Nuna TRVL DUBL, not for: twins who both need an infant car seat on the stroller. Nuna lists PIPA compatibility on one seat only, and the frame is 30.5 in wide folded or open.
- UPPAbaby Vista V3, not for: a short trunk. Folded with the seat attached it stands 33.3 in tall, the tallest fold in this table, and a newborn needs the bassinet or SnugSeat bought separately. Our Vista vs MIXX comparison goes deeper.
- Veer Cruiser XL, not for: small cars or newborns. It folds to 37 in long, weighs 36.7 lb, uses 3-point harnesses, and its canopy and car seat adapters are not included.
Measure your trunk before you come
Measure the trunk floor from the back of the rear seats to the closed hatch or lid, the width between the wheel wells, and the height to the cargo cover. If the longest folded side in the table is bigger than all three, that stroller goes in at an angle or not at all. Our fit guides by vehicle cover car seat and stroller fit for popular models, and our stroller guide covers the wider lineup.
